The Plan for the Day

We'll start with coffee and pastries
from 9:30 am  

Session 1: Firing Up Faith
10:30 – 11:30 AM

We'll be thinking about our cultural moment, considering what it means to be a man in the light of what God has said.

We'll be hearing from Rob Emmerson (our host for the day) about what God has done in his life and how he got the vision for FLAME.

Then Charlie Styles will be opening up the Bible for us and shining a light on what our culture says about being a man..

Thinking Together: FAithful Living and...
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Choose a topic that interests you and join the conversation.  Pick from a variety of options: 

...Faithful Living and Fatherhood by Andrew Cinnamond and Gareth Griffith from St Lawrence Church in Lechlade

...Faithful Living and Self-Control by Ben Thomas, a medical doctor and evangelist.

...Faithful Living and Evangelism by Alanzo Paul, an evangelist with a story. 


Lunch
1 – 2 pm

Sandwiches etc will be provided. Most dietary requirements will be provided for.

Session 2: Purpose, Ambition and Success 2 – 3 pm

We'll gather once again for a Bible talk from the Revd Andrew Wingfield Digby.

CHILL OUT Time
3 – 4:30 pm

We don't want people to feel too pressured so throughout the day there's time to go for a walk, play a game or just sit and chat.

You might want to pray with a friend, read a book or just enjoy the scenery.

4:30 – 5:30 pm

During this slot we'll repeat the sessions from the morning, so that no one has to miss out.

Dinner
6 – 7 pm

We're having a big roast!  Local pork and lamb, and lots of it, all sorts of treats for afters.

A chance to chill out and we'll light the Big Flame.

Evening Session: Jesus, the Ultimate Man
7 – 9 pm

To end the day we gather to hear about.  

There'll be some music, Bible teaching from Nick Mzezewa and a chance to pray.
